Planned and edited by the Institute, Asia-Pacific Review (APR) is the English-language academic journal published twice a year available at more than 3,000 universities and research institutes worldwide through Taylor & Francis Group online. The journal analyzes issues in diplomacy and security, industry and trade, and economics and society with a focus on the Asia-Pacific region. All submitted manuscripts are subject to initial appraisal by the Editor, and, if found suitable for further consideration, to peer review by independent, anonymous expert referees. Since its inception in 1994, Asia-Pacific Review publishes articles written by leading scholars, diplomats, politicians, and business people who are actively involved in making decisions that affect the Asia-Pacific region in the twenty-first century.
