International affairs surrounding Japan are undergoing major changes, including the US-China rivalry and Russia's aggression against Ukraine and the rise of the Global South. Under these circumstances, Japan needs to restore its industrial competitiveness centered on technological capabilities and contribute to the formation of a new international order. We conduct research and policy advocacies related to economic security that balance a free and fair international economic order with security.
