Nakasone Yasuhiro Peace Institute

Thank you for your support of the Institute for International Policy Studies (IIPS), founded in 1988 by Yasuhiro Nakasone, former prime minister of Japan. The Institute conducts investigative research in various fields including security, international politics, and economics; presents policy proposals; and organizes international exchange in an effort to contribute to global peace and prosperity.

On the occasion of the auspicious 99^th birthday of IIPS Chairman Nakasone, and in acknowledgement of the background and purpose for establishment of the Institute and to further clarify the mission for future research endeavors, the Institute for International Policy Studies has been renamed Nakasone Yasuhiro Peace Institute, effective January 1, 2018.
