NPI Maritime Security Study Group has been conducting research and discussion on the issue of territorial security and has come up with several options for solving the problem.
However, these options are still in the process of research and are not yet complete as policy proposals.
Nevertheless, with the aim of raising public awareness, this paper, although in the form of an interim report, summarizes the issues of territorial security in Japan and indicates a certain direction.
