NPI Proposals: Pioneering a New Era of Japan-US Relations- Japan's Course and the New US Administration
The outcome of the presidential election in the United States, which will be held on November 5, 2024, is expected to have a significant influence on the future international situation, and the whole world is watching the outcome with great interest. What basic policy should Japan follow to weather the rough seas of the world? What kind of diplomacy is the new US administration likely to pursue with China and Taiwan, the Korean Peninsula, Russia, and Europe? What impact will this have on Japan, and what kind of response measures can Japan take? And what kind of diplomacy should Japan pursue toward the United States?
